Sooooo I noticed today that my harness/ecu does not take any inputs from the column shifter.
I havent checked the wiring diagrams on the 4.3 stuff, but is there a data line that goes directly from column to trans?
if not, how do i control the trans?

the inputs are given to the ecm from the gear indicator module (or whatever the hell GM calls it) on the side of the transmission that the shift bar runs through.
some ecms don't get the inputs, and the module is simply for the dash indicator
and this is a year and half old thread......good job me
