Would you trust your truck to this welder?
« on: October 02, 2009, 01:29:04 PM »

He has done his own and 2 other trucks that have been on the road for years with no problems. Granted they are all show and don't beat on their trucks like I do. I wanted brackets welded to my axle tube and mounting tabs for a watts link.

No.
He cut the tube straight rather then notching it which made the weld under cut. I would never trust a lazy welder.

Thats the only things you guys picked up on?  Damn...look at the color of the pipe.  Only time I've seen pipe go that color is from a guy welding too hot and having to constantly grind and reweld.
