I know someone is going to start asking about adapters or what not so here we go.  ;D

Please post what size adapters, which rims (C4/5/6), first gen or second gen. Any other useful info is welcome.

Thanks guys.

I go occasionally, haven't participated since I got rid of the turbo miata. I recognized the place because of the blue dune buggy in the back. Guy from a VW forum I hang on is with that group of dune buggies. Every now and then I stop by to watch people run since I run weekend errands in that area anyway, if I catch you running I'll stop by and introduce myself.

Thought someone may be interested - I posted this on S10forum too:

I replaced one of my broken C5 ZO6 18x10.5" rear wheels with a replica when I first bought them. I weighed them last night with the OEM 295/35 eagle F1 supercars on them and the replica was about 7-8 lbs heavier than the factory wheel (it was only with a bathroom scale so that's as accurate as it gets).

The factory 17x9.5" front is supposed to be 19.2 lbs and the 18x10.5 rear (rim only) is supposed to be 21.0 lbs. 28-29 lbs for the replica still isn't that heavy relative to some aftermarket wheels but that's a pretty big difference over OEM - stock GM (i.e. speedline) rims FTW!

thats the direction i think i want to go in with my 99 s10. Are those actual oldskool rims with stock offset? Always wondered if old rally rims would fit right on my truck.

I ran 17x9 '02 Camaro SS Wheels with a great looking stance for years.  2.25" adapters.  Personally I would have gone with 2" adapters up front as they were a bit on the "wide" side for my first gen.

SS Wheel to tie-rod clearance

16" Z28 wheel to tie-rod clearance ('95 wheels with same adapters)

Before adapters

After adapters
