ice race mr2

While you guys are all making no documented progress on your projects, I've been having fun doing a bunch of ice racing with the daily driver mr2
Who knew 100 hp would be such a handful.
Also regretting my decision to save $4 and going with the goodyear snowtires instead of the generals.

Pfffft it may be undocumented but I am making progress.  Too bad I wrecked the Audi's rear differential on Sunday because that means there is 0 chance I'll join in on any ice racing this year.  You know, if I could pull myself away from undocumented progress haha  It certainly would be a blast.

Best guess so far is there was some slop in the rear + a good hard launch and the gears decided to part ways with their teeth.  I've been trying to chase down a solid thunk on hard shifts since I owned the car and had always assumed it was a weak bushing.  The thunk got more solid when I replaced the differential mounts, but it was still there.  Next up was the center bearing on the drive shaft, but looks like I diagnosed the real issue.

the mr2 I don't mind keeping. I figure if someone is willing to give me the price I want I'll let it go, I'm in no hurry.
The rx7 I think i want gone before summer '16 otherwise i might end up buying a trailer and keeping it as a track only car

I really just like giving you shit Ryo, if I made the kind of progress on my projects that you do, I could turn them over more often, and probably would too.

quick progress is fun, but you do get bored of projects much quicker.

Wow! Sweet!  Always good to see a project sell easily.  I should have the original Isuzu gone by the end of the week, myself.
