11-8-09 3rd Event of Fall Season

Big day for the little white pick-up. Had the race tires all mounted and ready for killing some time. And  I sure as fuck did. Pulled a 34.750 for my fastest comp run taking 1st in my class. Unfortunately it was only 1 other competitor a Pontiac Firehawk. Allen was the driver of that car and kicked ass on his summer tires. I'd never catch him with my all-seasons lol. Ran in TO's and slowly pulled down my times in 5 runs. On my last run i managed a 33.958. It's always the next day you feel you could of pulled a better time if ya just did something different. I'm sure I could of managed a low 33 if not a 32.9, the tires just had so much grip and I still never saw the limits. We'll see at event #4.

I'm jealous.  Sounds like a ton of fun.  And those are my favorite stock wheels for the S10s.  I'd rock them all week on my first gen.

yea i love the wheels too. I pulled them off my 1st gen before i traded it for a 2nd gen.

Awesome times!  It so fun being competitive with T/A's, vettes, and STi's in a truck.  I know autoX is more about the driver than the vehicle but it's still really satisfying to kick someone's ass when they're in a much 'faster', much more expensive car 

I'm also jealous, I hate that our season is so short here.
