New Camaro Steelies, 18x8". Need street tire, summer only is fine, definitely 200 treadwear and up, ~25-26" tall and as wide as I can fit on that wheel.

Suggestions?

I don't have any suggestions, but in the market for something similar for the Isuzu this summer.  I was just going to call up my friend at Discount and see what he recommends as he always gives me solid options.

I guess the next question is, do I stick to my ideal diameter, or go to a 27" tire to squeeze up from a 245 to a 255?

245/40ZR18 = 25.7"

255/45ZR18 = 27.1"

Options So Far:
Continental Extreme Contact DW
Bridgestone Potenza S-04
Hankook Ventus V12 evo2
BFGoodrich Sport Comp2

I bought a pair of Hercules Raptis WR1's for the truck last year and find them pretty good for what they are. They were the cheapest tires I could get locally in 245/45-17. My expectations weren't high but they're quiet on the highway and sticky enough for normal spirited street driving.
03 Sonoma ECSB, 4.3 auto, bolt-ons, xtreme80 tune, ZQ8 steering box, QA1 coilovers and rear shocks, UB Machine UCAs, Spohn LCAs, tall balljoints, ZO6 wheels, race seats.
