Not even a project I've heard of actually, and I thought I was up on most of the S10s being built lately. Pretty straighforward swap though, you just graft the undercarriage of the W-Body into the rear of the S10 frame and create some towers for either the stock struts or some coil overs. I had an 05 Impala with the 3400 for a few years and I was really surprised at the similarity of the wheelbase to an S10. They would probably have had to drill the hubs for the correct bolt pattern and install new studs, as an adapter would have definitely pushed those rears out. I'd love to see more about the build though.

They did mention it was loosely based on a Fiero too.  I think the rear Fiero bumper is even still there in the picture here.   My first thought was it was a crew cab bed, but looks like they just cut to fit.  I like the hood vents and other race car-like features they used in the creation of this monstrosity.
