May have some things that weekend, but I'm considering.  Looking at purchasing some tools via auction, but may not spend my full auto budget on that for the month.  I'll know better by the end of the week.  $150 doesn't sound as scarey as last year haha.

Do you remember what was on the tech sheet?  My only real worry is passing tech with my fuel cell install and battery relocation.

as of now there's like noone signed up, which will be amazing because we'd have the track for ourselves/have a shitton of runtime. i have some friends from high school coming too. the s2000 signed up is one, and there may be a subie and a dsm eventually.

tech is pretty simple. you can read up the 2 or 3 page list if you want, but i dont think they even checked my battery or fuel tank. both which are relocated, although stock tank and bed outside the cab

Yeah my main concern is the fuel filler being in the cab.  Not sure if they will like that.  And would hate to have no refund if I don't pass.  Looks like I will most likely have the money.  I'll know tonight.

what i did before (email them and see if its okay)
was register, but not pay, saying you will hand them cash on site.
and i believe you do get refunded as long as you dont go onto the track. as in if you dont pass inspection.

or, how easy is it to remove your filler neck so they wont notice and just plug it?

I'll email them as you suggest.  I could remove it, but don't know if it will be enough to get me there, around the track multiple times and then home.  I'm considering bringing extra gas with me haha.  I can't wait to get this chassis wrapped up and the fuel cell install done right.

Decided not to go.  Had already told some people I was going to Summit Truck Fest.  Wish I would have put this on my calendar when you first brought it up, but this will save money for the new 5.3.
