WANTED Blazer tank brackets
« on: February 12, 2012, 12:53:09 AM »
I'm looking for the brackets/big straps from a 1st gen blazer w/ the 20 gallon tank. I have straps & I know I should have kept the OEM brackets that hold the tank but I didn't. So, c'mon guys help a brother out. 'specially you guys down in the nice weather states. I need these somewhat quickly since I'd like to mount the blazer tank soon.. very soon.

These are the straps/brackets I want..

If no one else has a set, I know for a fact there are a few at one of the local yards. They have these things on a regular basis and I can get down there after work one day and dig you up a set, but the shipping is not going to be fun on something this big.

I'm pretty sure they'd fit nicely in a 6x6x30 box. Shipping problably be 15-20 tops. They're not that heavy & going in a decent box shipping wouldn't be so bad.

What's the yard charge for the pair?

No idea, never had to get a set. They don't have any of their price boards online anymore either.

Probably for the best, they're not bad, but not worth it unless you have them already IMHO.

I made the upper grid for the tank & used the lowers from what I bought.

When I had a first gen Blazer the straps were soo bad i had to cut the tank out and buy new straps. The were like $40 for the pair brand new.

Yeah, I already bought a set. I didn't like them. So I made my own setup & used the bottom straps I bought. This has also be taken care of... no problem!
